Summary:

We are looking for a highly organised and proactive Project Administrator to work as part of our Project Team.

About The Role:

Supporting our Project Team based in Truro, the Project Administrator will be a key member of the Team, responsible for providing comprehensive administrative and governance support to ensure the smooth and efficient execution of projects. 

Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience in a project administration or similar administrative support role.  
• Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.  
• A self-motivated and proactive approach to work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.  
• High attention to detail and accuracy.  
• Experience in documenting business processes or workflows.  
• Familiarity with project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).  
• Consistent delivery of high-quality work and ability to meet deadlines.  
• Proficiency in using project management tools and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities Will Include:

•    Maintaining and updating project documentation, including project plans and our RAID (Risk, Assumptions, Issues and Dependencies) log.  
•    Preparing and circulating project status reports and meeting minutes.
•    Assisting in the preparation for, and coordination of, project reviews.  
•    Scheduling and booking project meetings, workshops, and key project events (e.g. User Acceptance Testing and Training) and sending out follow-up communications.  
•    Maintaining and regularly updating the project task log, ensuring all tasks are accurately recorded and assigned.  
•    Proactively tracking the progress of tasks and following up with task owners to ensure timely completion.  
•    Identifying potential challenges and escalating issues to the Project Leaders as required.  
•    Assisting in the administrative aspects of project resourcing, such as tracking team member availability and allocation.  
•    Documenting and maintaining project processes, workflows, and best practices.  
•    Assisting in the documentation of business processes.   
•    Providing administrative support for project scoping activities.  
•    Acting as the main point of contact for project-related administrative enquiries.  
•    Communicating effectively with project leaders, team members, and other stakeholders to ensure everyone is aligned and informed.  
•    Assisting in drafting and formatting project communications and presentations.
