Database Administrator

We are searching for a Database Administrator to become a valued member of our expanding team in Truro. In this role, you’ll collaborate with our IT team, focusing on the upkeep of our database infrastructure and ensuring the integrity and consistency of our data. Engaging with various departments company-wide, you’ll play a pivotal role in executing our data strategy, guaranteeing top-notch service delivery for our Members.
- Developing and maintaining MS SQL Server environments
- Knowledge of stored procedures, their development and maintenance
- Developing and maintaining SSIS packages and SSRS reports
- Use of Service Broker and Triggers
- Understanding and experience of industry standard techniques, platforms and practices
- Database analysis, design and development skills
- Experience of developing with either C# or PHP (desirable)
- Experience of working on Linux and Windows server environments (desirable)
- Experience with Azure or similar cloud environments (desirable)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Maintaining the security, integrity and availability of our data
- Working to improving the quality of our data
- Contributing to data governance across the business
- Assisting in the identification of business issues, seeking appropriate solutions
- Keeping up-to-date with industry standards and developments, as well as the company’s objectives.
